Osseo Area School Board Candidate Forum Set for September 15

Osseo Area School Board candidates will meet for a public forum hosted by the League of Women Voters on Tuesday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m. The forum will take place at the Maple Grove Government Center, 12800 Arbor Lakes Parkway N., Maple Grove, MN 55369.

I’m excited for community members to hear directly from the candidates about our priorities, our experience, and the kind of leadership we would bring to the Osseo Area School Board.

A candidate forum should be more than a series of campaign speeches. This is an opportunity for voters to ask meaningful questions—and for candidates to provide clear, specific answers about how we will serve Osseo Area Schools.

Our district is making consequential decisions about academic achievement, school safety, educator support, responsible budgeting, and the opportunities available to every scholar. Voters deserve to know not only what each candidate believes, but how they are prepared to govern, work with others, evaluate difficult choices, and turn their priorities into action.

I hope voters will take advantage of this opportunity. Thoughtful questions help move the conversation beyond generalities and give candidates the chance to demonstrate their understanding of the district, their readiness to lead, and the specific approach they would take as members of the school board.
